We exist in the virtual world and don't have to pass on our huge brick and mortar overhead. You say you're coming to the Bay Area and want to buy art, don't go to the tourist gallery at Fisherman's Wharf, or near the Ferry terminal in Sausalito, go on an art tour of your favorite flavor of art. We know all the galleries and who has what. We know who has the best prints and who has the best original art works. We don't have a stable of artists and we are not limited to showing you what is in our inventory. We are not biased in any way and won't encourage you to buy the work we publish so we can make a 800% markup. We won't sell you a frame made out of architectural molding and charge you hand carved wood molding prices. We have a conscience and we want to sleep at night. The sky is the limit when it comes to art work, but that doesn't mean you have to pay a 8000%. We are not in the business of ruining artists as we release them from their exclusivity contract. We are not a detriment to any the local art community. We are about locating the best art, for the best price. We don't control what an artist produces, and we don't fancy ourselves an artist. Our founder is an artist. We promote local artists and our founder actively promotes the Arts. We do real promotional work to promote local arts. There is no imagined value to prop up. It our time and hard work that we donate and there is no way to place a value, real or imagined, on our intangible effort. We don't promote some artist in some third world country because their standard of living is lower and we can buy their work for pennies on the dollar. We only make archival quality prints. You won't find that our prints fade after a year, like they might from many tourist galleries. We take the guess work out of buying art and only deal with the most reputable art dealers around the world, insuring all works are properly authenticated and are sold near market value.
